I think none of the above. Like Rak I think it is exploitation of the lure of the story being exploited at this point. This MM (MM's) has had their thumb on this stock so long they got together and decided to let it run a bit so they could grab some eager momentum and swing traders. On top of that letting it climb a bit makes it easier to get some revenue from buying or selling options at different strikes and expirations.

I would love for it to be pending news but am doubtful.
