Hi All! I'v been a silent reader of this forum for a while now, and finally decided why not take up mail room employment.
It is good to be in meaningful discussions. For those who pay attention to financial numbers, please help me with these statistics:-
Market cap = 370M (as of today)
- outstanding shares = ~160M
- float = ~93M (i.e. roughly 58% of outstanding shares)
- % held by insiders = ~50M (31%)
- % held by institutions = ~30M (19%)
From what I hear and read, AlMann has about 1B invested in the company. And he holds about 35M (from the earlier debt conversion) shares. I guess the rest 15M is held by other insiders of the company.
Do we know how much more does mnkd owe AlMann?
Doesn't it work in AlMann's favor that he can get more stock ownership (and hence control) of the company (through debt conversion) when stock price is lower?
I'm not suggesting that in any way he is manipulative so that he can grown his wealth. I personally cannot imagine a philanthropist like AlMann to try to profit from wicked ways...it is just that whether we dilute or not, AlMann stands to gain one way or other.
That said, I was a little dissapointed in no mention about financing in the latest CC. Any thought?
Thanks!
