I would love to have insight into the Pfizer follow-up study on this. My guess it was done to build a firewall between former patients who could be drafted by opportunistic trial lawyers to sue the company and Pfizer. We will never know that.

One thing that no study could possibly cover in detail is the wildcard in any cancer incidence which is heredity. How accurately do patients convey the history of cancer in their family? I would also to be interested to find out if part of the screening of the current Afrezza trials include elimation with hereditary cancer just to avoid this possibility.
