Yea for class action lawyers!! Another glorious victory for shareholders who no doubt will receive gobs of money for each share purchased between those two dates!! What in the heck would we do without the class action bar? Okay, once in a while they do some good, I think back in 1979 or so, I remember a case or two....
So much easier to "win" a civil case, I wish they would require that the corporate officers accused of the wrong doing would have to be proven guilty of intentionally misleading, given the usual "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard, there would be a lot less settlements then (close to free money for lawyers, not much for shareholders), and maybe a lot less fast and loose talk by corporate officers.
