From what I remember during my due diligence for MNKD the Ora-lyn application is tedious- squirt 4-5 times, wait a couple minutes, repeat, repeat.
I also recall the cost being prohibitive when compared to Med Tone. With Dreamboat using 30% of Med Tone the cost differential between the 2 would be even greater. The argument a patient would not choose to inhale an effective medicine is a straw dog argument.
IMO what will determine the viability of Afrezza is the fact it is safe, effective and very close to the cost of current therapies coupled with the fact it looks like it slows the prgression of the disease.
