In order to have annualized sales of 2.25B within 12 months of approval MannKind would have maxed out it's first manufacturing facility. Maxed out capacity is 2,000,000 patients or $4B in product sales. The growth would have to be almost parabolic starting from zero. Imagine the impact of 3 straight quarters of conference calls with that kind of news to report!
