I just received another shipment of Bydureon for my T2 diabetes. The three month supply was $960.00. My deductable was $150.00 per month but my company lowered it to $75.00 if I complete a health survey, have what they call a Bio-Metric screening once a year and hold a conversation with a health coach every two weeks. This program is available to all employees but they specifically lowered co-pays on many diabtetes drugs and in fact eliminated co-pays on insulin and other diabetes supplies to encourage us to take better care of ourselves. Insurance companies can either pay now or pay later for our medication and care. I am thankful to work for a forward looking company that is not just looking out for my health but their bottom line. It only makes sense.
