Thru March 28, the short interest is up 17 million shares sincemDecember 31. That's almost a 70% increase. With all the bullish news we've been seeing in the last 30 days, I'm sure some of the knowledgable MNKD investors have been increasing positions. Also, there are a lot of new investors taking positions that like the story and the opportunity. This in itself probably attracts some of the momentum players who also see opportunity especially with the very high short interest. All of this puts a lot of pressure on those who have shorted, many of whom, believe or believed the negative stories put out by journalists like Adam Feurstein and others, which are not bearing out as forecasted. I think many shorts see the writing on the wall and are closing out their short positions before they take even more of a beating.
