Message: Scripps Researchers Find Culprit in Alzheimer’s-Relate... Brain Damage

and we have evidence to suggest that childhood vaccinations are linked to autism and we have evidence to suggest that exubra could cause lung cancer and thus inhaled insulins in general may increase risk of lung cancer, etc etc etc..... the list is loooong. i'm surprised we can still give tylenol otc since it is a leading cause of death from overdose. all of this type of misinformation overreation is really the underlying reason afrezza hasn't been approved yet. risk aversion. so maybe metformin is linked to "old timers", maybe it's not- or maybe the link is super weak. but if you want metformin to be taken off the market so it opens the door bigger for afrezza to step in, don't go crying when afrezza one day is black boxed because it's loosely linked to MS or Lupus or worse... impotence?. it's a very interesting article for sure dont' get me wrong. i'm just so tired of the media blowing things out of proportion, and i'm also well aware of labs/scientists reporting things so they can get grants and such. nobody wants results that everyone already expected, so spice it up a bit and get paid more $. haldol, droperidol, phenergan- these are all GREAT drugs. but i can't use any of them IV now because one or two bad things happen and brian williams says they might kill you, so pressured hospital administrator puppets make it a no no to administer under their watch for fear of backlash and lawsuits. so when crazy meth head brut who is related to a local statesman comes in and all the er staff is holding him down in the room (meanwhile your dad is dissecting his aorta in the other room and your baby is turning blue down the hall), all i can give the guy is ativan and benadryl (or succ but that's frowned upon). so just be careful what you wish for. healthcare delivery is really screwed up btw (and it gets worse soon cuz nobody wants to be a doctor getting it broken off in them daily for less and less compensation in this risk averse, entitled healthcare climate. just don't wish for metformin to be a bad drug. wish for the fda to grow some balls and do the right thing.
