"Cannibis is apparently like Windex in My Big Fat Greek Wedding!"

It's getting kinda scary out there. Medical use was recently approved in my state - by popular vote - not by any medical jurisdiction. Now they're looking to expand the number of conditions for which it can be prescribed. I've seen new practices spring up - catering just to this business (cash I'm sure). Mind you, there's not a shread of evidence in most conditions that marijuana is effective, let alone safe. And when police officers stop a person suspected of driving under the influence, all a person has to do is state they are on medical marijuana, and the cops have to let them go.

And if that's not enough, the state is looking to outright legalize pot - they're seeing the $$ that will come in from taxing it - not giving a damn about long term health and societal issues that will arise.

OK, I'll get off my soapbox now. I'm just ripped about where society is going...
