so there are people on the board who are sueing al mann and mannkind for it's poor business decisions and statements (or more pointedly because shorty sent an 11th hour shady letter to the FDA), and yet those same people are riding mnkd's coattails on their way to financial security? maybe i'm not seeing it right or something? so if we get a crl this time are we gonna pout again and say it was all al mann's fault for getting us too excited? isn't that the risk we take in biotech investing? would the ppl benefitting from the class action suit have not invested anything in mnkd if al mann had been quiet? i don't know but just because you can get free money doesn't mean you should. do you trust mnkd or do you not? if you don't trust them then i agree with getting a settlement and leaving the stock. but you can't tell me that mnkd owe's you for their failures AND for their success. they haven't changed- the same people and players are involved- and they admitted no wrongdoing. maybe i'm missing something here. i hope i am actually. i feel like this is just another example of the entitlement state that we live in. class action lawsuits are a convenience for lawyers who make out big with the defendants nipping at their teets for a squirt of sugarjuice. anyway, maybe someone could change my mind or at least make me feel better about this. i just assumed that defendants were ppl who wanted out of mnkd- not ppl still invested. -chad
