Chad, years ago when I followed MiniMed closely, and after the pump was approved, I heard the guy with whom you're shaking hands in your avatar talk in terms of heading in the direction of an "artificial pancreas" with a pump/sensor combination. He sold out to Medtronic before MiniMed could get there. However, perhaps he'd call it a "smart pump" today!
