Assuming FDA approval pushes PPS to high teens, failure to get a partner coupled w/ a "go it alone" marketing approach would push PPS below where it is today - all IMO. Establishing a sales force of any size from scratch would take more time (loss of patent protection) and money (more "minimaly dilutive" financing) than MNKD can afford. Even renting a sales force from an outfit like Takeda would be a disaster ( I witnessed this scenario when KOS pharmacuetical tried a go it alone marketing approach before they quickly sold to Abbott).

If Afrezza's propects are not compelling enough for Al to convince a product/revenue hungry big pharma that they need Afrezza, how in the hell is he going to convince Doc's.
