Maybe they just wanted to wait till next week to see the inevitable hit pieces from certain analysts who are "shocked, shocked," to find that this company has no earnings!!

I was thinking a play might be to buy some calls, say, $9 strike, expiring next Friday, figuring that the real news will be coming next week, with a possible announcement of when that conference call or release may be, then sell those calls on a potential run-up caused by that announcement, but prior to the actual news. But.... darn things are too expensive, so I didn't do a thing. Also, there's a good chance that there will be no time to make a move in between the announcement of the cc, and the cc.
