Their lead candidate is a stem cell therapy for ALS, but what I'm really excited about is their small molecule drug (NSI-189) for Major Depressive Disorder. Blow all the current SRRI treatments like Paxil out of the water. It actually increases neuralgenesis in the hippocampus of the brain... huge potential with impt. phase 1b data expected in Oct 2013.
