In proboards, we can sticky certain posts to keep them on top if need be. I personally don't believe in banning people for no reason. I would hope that we can be respectful in our discussions, but I realize occasionally discussions can get a little heated. Certainly in Proboards, you can outright nssomeone for major transgressions, but you can also have a gradiated warning system, or you can also do temporary ban. In all my time on the GMCR board, I've only ever banned spammers.
