By smaller bids do you mean Lower priced or the odd lots, 20 @$5.54, and scotia with 14 & 33 @ $4.45?

I've been wondering about these but sometime ago when someone asked a question about level 11, someone jumped on them and said they shouldn't be trading if they didn't understand it. I'm long in what I'm holding, but it would be good to understand how this works.
