I have mainly played the NOT game, however I have followed all the area plays news and posts. I now feel a little bit of diversification in McFauld's is warranted. I am really interested in the discussions and potential of FNC especially looking at the staking maps and the lowering stock price. They are not really close to putting a drill bit in the ground, but looking for positive EM results. With the direction and mandate of Richard Nemis to tie up the area in a 'tidy' ball making it easier for a major to take-on. Do you thing it is possible that FNC intends not to drilll, but JV and sell into NOT and ride after they prove up the EM results? They would have a great bargaining chip in those results and would not have to drill. It seems that if FNC may be sitting on a motherlode area and they sure are not rushing to prove it up, they are taking a very cautious road. Just my thoughts as I ponder a jump in FNC...
