I guess it's just possible that someone has turned up something interesting beyone the 'ring of fire'. Maybe as a result of Aerial Surveys being done.

There isn't any point calling the companies involved because they would want to keep this hush hush so they can stake as much as possible before others get wind of possible mineralization.

Pretty hard to keep things quiet since there are only so many people available to get on the ground and stake claims. The weather is not good up there and people have to be helicoptered in and out. Somebody would surely leak news of staking in new area and so far nothing has been mentioned anywhere. Nice rumour though.

 SPQ is cheap and has some interesting exploration properties. Lots of jv's they are participating in and hitting something good sooner or later seems likely. Probably worth buying some and holding, I've done that but in smaller quantities than Noront or FNC and I'm not terribly happy with performace of FNC yet.
