Everyone involved knows the value to come out of this play, that is to say it will be profitable.  But as has been mentioned by others, the perceived upcoming lull in news provides fertile ground for MM games... and they can pretty much acquire more shares as they like at prices they like until sufficient momentum works successfully against them.... at which point they also profit.  It seems their bread is buttered on both sides.  So we wait.
