We are talking the wild, wild, west, the TSX-v, it seems rules have no meaning. The theory is good news seems to be rushed to a news release for investors, bad news takes a little more time to put a good spin on the news release. Also, a company may have assays ready to pick up from a lab, but be in no hurry. They can wait to more holes are ready and release an entire batch at once. Often I hear we have some assays back from the lab but are waiting for more to release them all at once. So, I honestly doubt there is a real time line for these companies to release assays. Now companies that always seem to have good assys seem to release as soon as they get them from the lab, NOT comes to mind here.

I have a biased opinion of BMK, so perhaps I'm not a good one to listen to, about assays from them. I do know if I was going to play the assay game from BMK, I would only own a 1/3 position, if the assays were bad, I would dump my position and take my loss and move on. If the assays were good, I would buy another 1/3 when the stock opened after releasing the assays, on the 1st pull back from the intial share price run up I would buy my last 1/3 of shares. As soon as the stock stopped making a series of higher highs and higher lows I would dump the position. But thats just me.
