Tuesday morning thoughts

Yesterday, some stability showed up in the markets and for the most part, today, looks like a mild opening for the North American indices. Calm before the storm? Options expiry day on Friday, point to some volatile times later this week, so hold on to your crash helmuts. Having a portion of your portfolio in cash to take advantage of some bargains may be a course of action for some of the more nimble investors. JMHO

What's going on with NOT, FNC and PRB? This was the common question asked around the forum boards yesterday. There was buying pressure on the three stocks all day, with a bit of profit taking late in the day. My best guess is we got some sort of mild leak from on of the McFaulds Lake camps. The early buying pressure sure looked like someone in the know was accumulating.

Trying to deduce what the leak could possibly be, if this is the case, should be relatively easy. FNC and PRB are not drilling yet. This leaves one stock to be the source...NOT. Has NOT made another hit? Is #2 anomoly the source of the early investor interest?

Just where is this #2 anomoly? Could it be the anomoly SE of #1 on NOT land with part of it on FNC property? Does the term "ghost bridge" bring up any memories? Could #1 and #2 be connected by this "ghost bridge"?

So many questions, so few real answers. If we get some early morning volume today on NOT and FNC this could get real interesting !!!

McFaulds Lake is getting very interesting and should stay that way for months to come. JMHO
