A stock that just did the cycle was GRW-v. A classic pump on assay news, insiders and PP holders sold massive amounts of warrants that they excercised on the cheap. The stock run up in share price waiting for the assay news which had visuals of massive sulphides.( A pump on NOT's discovery). The company showed excellent looking core pictures. It took months for the actual assays, the stock price just kept going, until the bad news hit. There was only 10 m of 1% Cu. These kind of pump and dumps happen often on the TSX-v. One must be careful when playing pending assay news, the reason for my previous, buy only 1/3 before assay post.
