Well I'd not go so far as to say there is 'nothing' wrong with 'pumping' because you don't have to look too far back to see the likes of Murry Pezim and the terrible reputation junior mining companies received and just now climbing out of.
There are extemes of Pumpers and Bashers both types can do actual damage to new investors who haven't been through the wringer.
However helpful these forums can be they likely should come with a warning sticker 'Make your own decisions'.
Agoracom making rules might not be the best answer but with some cowboys and cowgirls that's the only way to control them. If they had a rule called ethical behaviour which just stated 'calling anyone's integrety into question will result in post being removed and, say, 500 points removed from score, might stop objectionable behaviour. I personally don't mind in the least someone objecting to my reasoning or opinion BUT posting that I have ulterior motives meant to harm novice investors is 'slander' and sooner or later somebody is going to end up in court (don't think for a minute Agoracom won't give up personal information on members if a court asks for it)
