Not to be offensive, but why would you buy into a company that you don't like the management? Do you think that they'll become better managers after they find the goods? Just curious.
It is not that I totally disagree with your point. I have some concerns about moves they make, i.e. the private placement deal and their lack of public communication with investors. But fundamentally, these guys seem fairly saavy. They jumped in and got a lot of primo land staked quickly and they did raise cash to drill. Although their first drill results were less than anticipated, they've gotten their ducks in a row and are alot more informed about their targets now. I find that they learn quickly, but time will tell if their stealth strategy works.
There are so many good opportunities in McFaulds, why invest in one where you dislike the management?
