I am confused about this whole point system and am hoping someone can clarify this for me. I typed agoracom into the search section and only came up with agoracom hub leaders and agoracom updates but didn't find an agoracome FAQ. If a FAQ does exist could someone send it me?

What is the difference between acitivty points and the points (the item shown under my profile)? The two numbers are not the same. According to the question mark next to points this reflects the contributions to the site and members voting. What is activity points?

Also how does someone post a private message. I have been successful at responding to private messages sent to me however when I tried to compose a message to another member it showed up in the public board.
