I think the SP might not react right away positively, as many still do not get that MDG has struck a blockbuster deal and its now trading at cash if not less.

Here is what I got from a broker involved in MDG.

“As you have likely seen the MDG deal news was released today shortly after the market close. In “theory” the stock price should be in the $0.30s as a result of deal closing, however, due to the tough market we are in at this time the reaction to this news is difficult to predict. The vote results (99% in favour) clearly indicates investors like the deal, we will have to wait and see what this means in terms of the SP in the near term.

The deal is very positive for the company and as one Canadian fund manager put it: “Canadian biotech story of the year”. My opinion is that as we educated investors about the deal we will see share price appreciation.”
