According to management there are a small number of anti-mining protestors, not from the area, that make a habit of protesting mining operations in Mexico. The great majority of the local population are in favor of the Dolores project. This ploy is kind of an "anti-mining extortion" by these individuals and management has taken the high road by getting the legal work in place to stop the illegal protests for now and for the long haul.

The legal work should be complete soon and the leaching on the pad will start at that time.
