Another reason could be that quite a few swing traders rely on the technical indicators ignoring the fundamentals. The indicators show sell and this is what they do. But the real winner or looser is the company and we (the longs) are along with them.

Additionally, I do not think that 3.5 mils of shares is the wall too high to climb. Couple of good news in the short period of time and the wall is disappeared.
