JB #1 has been flow tested at 800 bpd for three days. The oil formation was at the 2400 foot level.
JB #3 is one mile west of JB #1 and #2. So, the oil formation at the 2400 foot level should run between #1 and #3. JB #2 is less than 250 feet away from JB #1, so it is very likely that they tapped this formation also. I also believe that gas can be found below 2400 feet because HW #1 had significant gas flows.

“There’s a reason why there’s so much pressure at a shallow depth,” Tyrkalo said.
Near the bottom of the well, he said, drillers found “burnt volcanic oil. ... It was there millions of years ago, and it has migrated somewhere. If you can find that migrating stream, there’s large amounts.”

The most likely direction that the volcanic oil migrated is upwards, so I am guessing that the oil was deposited in multiple layers, and JB #2 will be a multizone well.
