JB#3 was drilled to less than 5000'. The photo of the flare does say MH#3, but maybe even Montello is confused with all the well names, or was it an intentional error - there's been many. The gas being flared for the test was from 8275' - take a look at the NR's of May 6th and 8th. This information was confirmed at the AGM.
MEO NR May 6th: Completion work on the oil zone identified on the logs in the John Bowen #2 Well, which is the same zone from which the Morgan Highpoint #3 Discovery Well is currently producing from, will be addressed after the completion work is conducted on the deep potential gas bearing zone at 8,275 feet. At the AGM, mgmt stated that MH#3 was NOT producing from the Copper Ridge - total contradiction of this NR.
MEO is going from a carried position of 55% to having to pay its own way and take a 40% reduction in ownership.
Find me one other jr O&G company that would have sold out the way MEO did, vs the NR and quick on-production that is the industry norm.
Maybe Badabing is right, BC. I recently wrote that you acted like MCPOWER, should we also as Formossa, Phart, etc, etc.
