"Perhaps there are things we don't know" - there are always things we don't know about routine management of the companies we invest in. It's understood that there wouldn't be time for management to inform investors about every turn in the road. However, the management of MEO have exhibited consistent negligence with regard to their RESPONSIBILITY to inform investors about MATERIAL events in a timely manner. The combination of their disrespect for investor rights and their abject failure to add value to the company (as demonstrated by the plunging share price) invites distrust of their competence and honesty.
"would appreciate some input from those on this board who have fully supported MEO mgmt" - are their any "fully supportive" investors left ? I'd love to hear from them too and I'd love to know why they fully support this constantly churning motley crew in light of its dismal failure to add value to this company (take any timeframe you like: one year, 2 years, 15 years.............look at its history and show me the money...... please).
