i look at this way. if the PP is completed we must have a solid find, as you say if the play is there they will invest. However if this drags out I believe it will be a sign that perhaps a big enough "elephant" has not been proven to potential PP investors, and they have re thought their willingness to participate. Too make lemonade out of a lemon, perhaps the timing of all this is good fpr us it may once and for all prove one way or another what mgmt has so far eluded to tell us. The timely completion of this PP may tell the tale. The longer it takes the the less confident I will be.
