No need to worry,
· they just fractured the reservoir a little too vigorously and damaged the wellbore a teeny bit causing nitrogen to escape up-hole all the way to the surface (lucky it wasn’t combustible gas)
· the well flowed mud filtrate and drilling fluid of no value (lucky it wasn’t marketable oil, gas or condensate or they’d have to interrupt their holidays to negotiate a sales agreement or two)
· they just want 3 or 4 more weeks for the pressure to build up (after all, it’s vacation time !)
· they haven’t got a well plan for #1, #3 etc. etc. (too busy dreaming up promotions ?)
· the Pincher Creek pipeline hearing has been postponed just a little longer (for the umpteenth time)
· While we’re waiting on the next exciting NR, they’ve kindly furnished us with reading material about the Chattanooga Shale and all the other companies that are successfully producing from it (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)
Wishing everybody a safe and happy holiday and a prosperous New Year (including Corker and Brownie and uncle Phil Emrich and all…………...)
Keep smiling,
The new, improved, optimistic Mergatroyd.
