Here's the Highlights:
15:1 was Defeated
Name change, Defeated
An in depth presentation will be put on the website, sometime between May 15 and May 30th. It will also include logs. We did discuss some of what will be in it, but I'm writing a short posting before leaving my office for home. (I work a block away from the law firm the meeting was at)
Delays in Pincher Creek could mean delays revenues starting. Operator issues, Shell's Pincher Creek plant repairs are in May, etc. Simple to do, just getting it all working is required.
There's a second well in Pincher Creek. Single formation, will do a frac, and the pipeline is aready to the property.
Once those are done, there will be cash to go ahead in Tenn. JB#1 and MH#3. Partner issues are always a possibility, but for now, Pincher Creek is the focus.
The year end is July 31st. I suggested that, if they want to revisit the consolidation, we can do it at the next AGM, which could be before Christmas 09, rather than one year from now. Peter also suggested a special meeting, which most were very receptive to. With Pincher Creek on production, we could also be looking at rolling back from a higher share price.
One person was very blunt about not wanting to have a 15:1, and then having the share price drop back to the pre-consolidation price.
For those attending, too much is unknown for the vote to happen. Also, Bill Cawker and co created too much distrust for the shareholders to give a blank cheque to the Board. Nice people, but...... As was said, the trust issue was so bad, people were even voting against the Auditors.
The 15:1 discussion took over an hour, and in the end, the lawyer said there wasn't the 66% required, so it was defeated and we moved on.
Overall, a long, hot, stuffy, but very good meeting
