Mergatroyd, I'm sure many share your frustrations, however, it would be a little hard for insiders to get a private placement approved at dirt cheap prices if the stock skyrocketed to 4+ cents on some decent news. Therefore, the price must stay down, and news has to be withheld.
I've always wondered if the "mechanical obstruction" on the MH#3 well was only the closed position of the valve in the wellhead. Peter should get a crew out there to see what was actually done just before he started working for MEO.
At this point, there's really only a small number of shareholders, so it will take credible news and a promotion strategy for potential shareholders to learn about oil in Tenn, and want to buy in. So the question is, will the summer be that time? If not, it'll be easy pickins for Bill and his inbred buddies to buy cheap shares from the disilusioned and desperate. I wonder how many shares Bill's wife, Yvonne bought along the way. She came with Dwayne from Moonshine Resources, and used to be on MEO's Audit Committee.
I had some fun posting the news of the AGM over on two other sites. One that Marc Davis started, where MCPOWER seems to have emerged as Jamster123, and the other, which is where we all migrated from. Bill and co. destroyed the community over on SH, and tried hard on this board. He seemed to be working very hard to keep a new group from gather on SH. I haven't been there for a while, and with no real discussion, there's no point. So much effort sure does confirm there's serious quantities of oil in Tenn. That and the new 5,000' holes in Morgan County other companies are now drilling, which confirms that competitors know more than MEO shareholders.
So Meratroyd, I don't think competence is the issue holding up news of our $13+ million in Tenn wells. Insovency, that would expose too much, and since they only make the big score by the stock price going up, I'm fine waiting them out. As for another share rollback, I don't think anything that stupid will be tried again. The time for screwing shareholders is now past. The real question is still when will the Real Games begin.
