Would not work, Gas looses it`s octane over time and will become no good. That is why I always suggest people buy the cheepest gas they can, it will be fresher than the high octane gas that just sits in the tank and by the time you buy it, it probally has the same lower octane rating as the regular. Buy fresh, that`s the best, and if you try to store gas it will go bad unless you put additives in to make it more stable.
