Also, Options can be set up as a reward tool based no individual contractual agreement: I.E. issuance of ``X`` shares at ``X`` price if certain individual or Corporate/Financial milestones are achieved, etc.
Typically vairiants like above are limited to the big boys, joe peon won`t see anything like this, maybe the exception of being thrown a few bones on a promo or merit.
But again, like anything else, it`s how things are negotiated, either between the high roller executive, the Employee compensation dept and the BOD.
