My comment regarding the strength of the Sony brand vs. Intel is that ``Intel Inside``, as the ad goes, does not mean much to Main St. America / World, other than it makes your computer run.
On the other hand Sony is Main Street America`s / World game machine, TV and remote control, it is in their hands when they take a picture of the family or a great play made by a Padre player, it is the recreational machine they ride. Sony is what they shop for on a daily basis, Intel and AMD may be a consideration to them when they shop for a computer every five years or so.
This news is a p.r. firms dream. Public relation firms are paid and known for how many news outlets run it`s release`s and the placement of such release`s. The name Sony in a release is sure to get the attention of every business editor and news director in the news business.
Viability we have and after Friday`s news we should have Visibilty. Of course this to ``we shall see``.
