That`s the total of all products that might be infringing, which has no direct connection to what PTSC will get annually. Then you say that even $100B (splitting $200B in half with TPL) would be alright. Do you really think that TPL/Patriot is going to get $200B of the total $250B of annual sales from all the infringing products. That would be an absurd thought, if you really believe it.
On the other hand, I like the idea of chip manufacturers paying a one time fee, and the retailers of products using the chips paying ongoing royalties. In a way, that makes the chip manufactures almost like our manufacturing partners, then selling our product for use in other companies products.
