I for one can`t see any way out of settling for the J3. Logic would point to the fact that Sony`s team would know of prior art or any other reason to win in court, so they would never have settled....unless they got such a deal that would be cost effective to settle and not pay the lawyers.....BUT, stop the press......Sony was not beign sued anymore. Does everyone believe that they committed to settle way back then? That would be the only answer, and I feel otherwise. Knowing/reasoning and Feelings are way off from one another, however, so my feelings mean nothing. Trying to stay positive, being long with hopes and dreams, I tend to look to the bright side and in our case, I choose to believe Sony settled because the knew they had to.

Question , where is the line in the sand that makes one pay up or pay the lawyers. Doesn`t Sony have lawyers on the payroll already? What would the cost be to fight and extend.....what are the J3 holdouts haveing to pay???

If Sony could not find any hole cards to play, were would the J3 come up with them? 2 out of the five settled, what gain does the J3 have in fighting...I can see what loss they would have in fighting and loosing, a higher payout.

They can`t possibly thank TPL will wear down now that they/we have the cash to pay the lawyers? Besides we are not in CA anymore.

I believe that there is no rabbit in the hat and now that Sony has settled we have proof enough for everyone see.
