TPL`s interest and ours differ somewhat. Though we are both interested in a cash influx, they need a bulk of it to start

their other venture. So, their immediate goals and ours maybe different. Where we may not want to let the big boys

off the hook with these hugh discounts, they on the other

hand need a large influx of cash and are willing to make

some sacrifices.

What I found interseting initially was the the strategy

of charging the chip manufacturers a one time fee and

the product producers royalties.I guess what I am finding

difficult to comprehend is this: In my mind the manufactures

are the true infringures. If you buy a product thru a manufacturer, you would assume that they had the patent

for it. At least I would think that is what they would say in court.But, those that seem to be paying the biggest burden are those that may have been duped. Perhaps this is

the reason for mentioning about not collecting royalties at the SHM. I would hope that it was better thought out than that.I don`t think I have ever heard this topic discuused.
