There is a good linear correlation between the 2005 net sales of HP, Casio and Fujitsu and their respective total license costs. Seiko Epson`s 2005 net revenue was $13,191MM, which falls between HP and Casio ($20,472MM and $4,918MM, respectively). Although speculative, a conservative estimate for Epson`s total license cost based on this approach would be ~$15MM, of which ~45% goes to Patriot. This assumes that Epson gets the same discount as the others, which I personally doubt.

As Pohl said, we will see what the real numbers are as quarterly statements are filed. I think Pohl, the BOD, and Alliacense are doing a fine job. Here`s to more licenses in the near future!
