Yes, I agree with all you have written. The Pony metaphor was just the strategic big picture, with the return being a reduction in outstanding shares and the settling of the outstanding litigation, which in turn will reduce SH anxiety and uncertainy in the marketplace (to some degree, how much we won`t know until whenever that occurs).
But certainly, if we are settling deals hand over fist and turning in stellar quarter after quarter numbers, and the SP hovers between .88 and 1.12 (just to pick two of my favorite numbers), I would advocate that we are indeed doing something wrong strategically and need to change.
As for TPL, I don`t know how good they are with public companies, but I believe they are bright guys who have been doing some remarkable gymnastics on the negotiations front these past several months--without too many obvious visits to the chiropractor.
And our legal team is stellar.
