It is my opinion that our ``problem`` and as it turns out our recent ``Success`` is directly related in part to our ``partnership`` with the TPL group.
The problem is that as a privately held company TPL is not obligated nor have an interest in full disclosure nor the well being of the PTSC public shareholders. In addition they have their own ax to sharpen in that they want their ``chip`` to make it big time with many of the same mfgr`s and users of the MMP. In addition we signed a rather restrictive aggreement with TPL that gives them a short leash over what our Mgmt and Board can do or say regarding progress on the MMP licensing progress.
Our success over the past year is directly related imo to the fact that TPL seems to know what they are doing and how to present and get the point across that we have the ``real goods`` when it comes to ownership and infringement of the MMP patents. The old saying that the results are in the pudding seems to be appropriate in regards to the actions of TPL and the MMP however it
will be nice to see just how ``rich`` the pudding is.
Other points to consider when trying to analzye why our sp is where it is imo, in synoptic form:
Not knowing (at the present time) and probably for good reason what the company is doing regarding share buybacks.
Not having a significant sp within a specified time period to move to a more established exchange.
Not having a sp that would allow the ``big guys`` (funds & institutional investors) to purchase a position in PTSC. Imo their presence would add stability and movement in the right direction to our sp and it is my sincere hope we will see their presence sooner rather than later.
Not knowing what the PTSC Board is planning to do regarding the future of the company. However when we consider that the company was until very recently on financial icu life support I am not surprised that we have not taken a position as of yet. I would much rather they take the time and do their due dilligence before jumping and acting as if the money we are collecting is burning a hole in their (our) pocket.
and
Lastly, poorly designed pr`s (at least in our eye`s) that are not catching the attention of the street and are leaving most of us more plexplexed then informed. It is my opinion that giving out information in the format described by Ron in his post (# 489159 on 6/28 at 11:21est ) would allow all to know a bit more and would not create an almost certain windstorm in regard to the sp when the end of quarter results are announced. Surprises have a way to reward, in time, both sides and I for one would appreciate a steady certain upside ride that last for more than a couple of days.
Sorry for the lengthy post but I worked late tonight and had more than my share of coffee and probably won`t come down until the wee hours of the morning.
God Bless
