In a word, no.
I`d be more concerned if he was always available and posting on this or other threads.
I was able to email him once earlier this year and get a response. I did follow up with another email hoping for a response on that, but to no avail.
As we all know, phone calls to him are filtered and typically re-directed to Hawk. If insistent, the receptionist will forward to his VM.
I suspect (just like anywhere else) if you`re established, have some clout, or a major shareholder, he will entertain some type of limited response to you.
Not being a apologist, but I have to believe he`s resource constrained and it`s better he do what a CEO should do, which is work higher-level issues, along with trying to generate business opportunities. Given calls are usually re-directed, he smartly uses delegation and lets Hawk do what they`re paid to do (although that topic was an issue of debate here yesterday).
Although not directly related to TPL`s operations, I suspect he is to some degree on the periphery with TPL and any relevant issues related to Patriot.
Sure his lack of direct interaction is an irritant to shareholders, but as much as I`d like, I cant` get through to my CEO and ask him the status of deals he`s working, where he`s pounding the pavement this week, and who`s flesh he`s pressing...I have to wait for quarterlies too, and then the only questions he entertains are from the stock analysts.
All FWIW, JMHO.
