I`ve been considering the very recent trading action, and today was another example. Who`s doing the selling that kept the Ask pinned at .95 most of the day? Let`s see, up ~15-20% in a week, SEC 10K filing due at the end of the month.....yep, real good reasons to sell now?! I`m probably wrong in my conclusion, but somebody was ``absorbing`` all those buys at .95. So, the ``who``, in my mind is short sellers, perhaps trying to capitalize once more before the 10K. They successfully sold us down to near the low of the day near the close. I`ll be watching tomorrow (so what else is new?), but I wouldn`t be surprised if they drove us down another nickel or two by Friday`s close. Of course, after they`ve covered (or as a partial result of covering), we`ll move up before the 10K is due.
BTW, anybody thinking the 10K will come out ``early`` (i.e., before 8/31/06) is wrong IMHO. The filing was probably fully prepared, audited, etc., weeks ago (how complex could it have been?), but they`ll hold it as long as they can, especially if there is any share buy-back happening. All this silence, and you think they`ll jump the gun with a 10K? Not bloody likely.
But I KNOW nuttin`!
