Good post. Questions-- Do you mean that if they were also using the 336 patent, ARM would be liabal for that as well?
I can`t imagine that small firms could afford the ``covereage`` that the large firms like NEC can. The document said that one co. (Toshiba I think) may choose to handle this on it`s own--could it be that they were not covered by the insurance? tia, ads

It would be interesting to find out if PTSC or TPL put ARM on notice (surely they did) and what the date of the notice was. The other day when the ceo of ARM made those defensive statements was the first time that we had a clue.
