FWIW, I don't know Brian, have never spoken to, met or corresponded with him, but I have, like many others here, followed his posts over the years, and also wonder why we haven't heard from him. However, if we're to assume anything from his silence, it seems the better part of wisdom to assume that he's exercising his best discretion. Making up rumors, assuming the worst, accusing him of having been co-opted -- none of this gives Brian the benefit of the doubt: which is, he might not be able to respond, for any number of reasons, none of which play into any sort of conspiracy theory. I wish he were here contributing to the debate, too (and I have my suspicions that he IS, but those are only my own wild guesses). But until I hear or see otherwise -- as I posted some time ago re: Mr. Pohl, TPL and our legal team -- I will assume that Brian is acting in a professional manner regarding information that he is able/unable to share. And continue to wish him, and all longs, the best. JMHO.
