Thanks jldmt. I have read that about 3000 times, and now I can't remember where the 110 MHZ came from. I don't see it in the patent. I am reading so many white papers it is getting to be a blur. Not that any of the DD I do will change the outcome, but it definitely helps me understand what I own. On a side note, I was talking with a buddy today who has authored several patents and has also testified as an expert witness for the company he works for. He is an IEE that I went to college with, sure wish I would have paid more attention in my Microprocessor courses even if we were working with the old 6502 and 80x86 microprocessors. Anyways, what I found interesting was that he said it was sometimes discouraging that there have been times when his company was sued for patent infringement, and even after internal review showed that they “might” be infringing and that a deal might be the best route to take, the company moved forward with litigation and lost because outside counsel felt so strongly that they could win. I guess the take away from this little story; lawyers get paid more when they litigate as compared to striking deals. Could this be the case with ARM? Time will tell. GLTAL
